Roch here, let me just start off by saying I just love a new month and new quarter. We are starting of Q3 on a mini high, so let me get you up to speed on what has been going on.
We have been working really hard for all our clients on maximising their brand story and placements. We recently took on a lifestyle retailer within the baby and nursery industry. Now, this area is no way our expert area, but my god have we done our client (and ourselves) proud.
Within just two months of working with them we got them featured in the leading trade Nursery magazine (which was one of their target publications), as well as helping them get shortlisted for not one, but two awards at this year's Best Baby and Toddler Gear Awards 2018, which is hosted by Mumii. They have also been entered into the 2019 Mother and Baby magazine awards. We have secured press for them in both trade and consumer magazines with over eight placements in just two months.
As you can image they are really pleased with the results, here is what they had to say:
We have also helped them to revamp their social media accounts, as well as launch new platforms to help drive brand awareness across the board. They still control their social media accounts (as we don't offer that), but with a successful stint of social media organic growth and storytelling, we have helped them start to build their online persona and much more. All of our efforts have resulted in them reaching new markets, growing their database and network, setting meetings with retailers and most importantly getting them in the minds of consumers. This is a huge achievement for not only us but for them.
As for our other clients, we have been crazy busy for them too. From product photography, events, placements and features it has all been going on. In Q2 some of our clients have worked and collaborated with brands such as Adidas Paris, Form Mats, Made.com, ASOS and whole lot more.
We placed in various publications across the board from monthlies to weeklies that have included some new titles for us - which again has been a great achievement. We have also started to forward plan for the 'C' word....... Yep Christmas.
On top of all that, we have been working closely with some of our lovely journalists friends on various features and articles. This has included not one but two London based journalists leaving the big smoke to come and visit one of our local clients (mini achievement and usually hard to do).
I have also been giving my expert opinion and views on Royal and celeb fashion over on Femail - which has been great. I love getting involved with this as anyone who knows me, knows that I love giving compliments on good fashion.
We also ran our first 2018 PR workshop dedicated to the hair and beauty sector, which was a great success. Having worked in a salon (in a past life) and being qualified in hair (working shop floor), I have a great insight to what small or independent owns could benefit from. It is great to help a sector that I had worked in for a good few years before heading into the corporate world.
Q3 is shaping up to be a good one with more events and collaborations happening with some amazing brands and our clients. We will be launching our fitness client into the US market, TV placements and more. Even our business development team are busy outreaching to potential new clients.
I am really proud of the team and all the efforts/ work they have put in over Q1 and Q2. There are much more things to do and achieve and I am really excited on our growth and where we are heading.
